ROM After Dark

ANDPVA curated Indigenous programming for ROM After Dark and Friday Night Live series for eight years.

As a program partner, ANDPVA curated Indigenous programming for ROM’s After Dark and Friday Night Live series for eight years. Indigenous storytellers, comedians, award-winning musicians, and artists present themes ranging from the teachings and traditions of the Grandmother Moon to the creative expressions of fashion. Guest performances include Sage Paul, an award-winning artist, designer and recognized leader of Indigenous fashion and textiles; Logan Staats, winner of the first season of CTV’s The Launch and best known for his single, “The Lucky Ones” which hit number one on the Canadian iTunes chart right after its release; and live hoop dancing featuring Lisa Odjig, the first woman in history to win the title of World Champion Hoop Dancer.
